This doesn’t actually seem like a bad idea to me, in a society that puts WAY too many people in jail. Maybe I wouldn’t like it to be used for Murder 1 either, but for rolling a joint? I could live with that. We’ll see in a few years, I guess. Sometimes even our bastard Federalism may not be that stupid an idea.
